I started to be interested in art in 1979, when I began my training in this discipline at the School of Applied Arts and Artistic Crafts in Málaga and Cádiz where I was studying for two years. Six years ago, after a trip following the Danube river course, I painted again, greatly influenced by the wonders I saw in the museums and palaces of Vienna. Since then, I have gone through different stages: geometric (Kandinsky), color symbolism (Miró) ... until reaching the current one (abstract expressionism/the evolution) where large canvases predominate, as a result of the visit to the exhibition of American Abstract Expressionism at the Guggenheim museum in Bilbao. I do not paint, I am only subject to the dictates of painting: automatic pictorial execution, mixed with contemplative meditation and non-reflective impulse.
